These are usually around $140-150. Very nice lights. They're no Hue, but they integrate with Home Assistant well (in my personal experience). I'm not sure if their j boxes are proprietary, but I had to switch all of mine out.

Maybe you'd like to share how you integrated these with HA. I am getting rid of Govee specifically because it doesn't integrate well with HA. And I have tried multiple times.

Not OP, but have relevant setup. Not all their products will have it, but if it's available, enabling LAN Control and utilizing the GOVEE2MQTT integration has not let me down yet. I also have some of their devices that are Bluetooth only and they're connecting via Bluetooth proxies and the govee Bluetooth integration. Pretty consistent connection and polling. Only issues I've encountered were due to my Bluetooth proxy setups

Like the other commenter said, Govee2MQTT works very nicely. I have these H601Fs along with H801As, H601Bs, and an H60A6, and they're all happily in HA. I also have a handful of those GoveeLife bluetooth temperature and moisture sensors in there via ESP32Home BLE proxies...

Thank you both. The custom integration I had previously tried to use does not work, but Mosquitto + Govee2MQTT eventually did the trick once I powered through one more kink. Now, they still rely on their home server through the API, but that can't be helped.

All the home assistant talk is great but is anyone running these on plain google home? 30 a light isn't crazy for color changing cans, the dumb ones are way cheaper though. Mostly wondering if the warm white is bedroom warm or gas station warm.

I specifically got these to replace my "gas station warm" lights hahaha I can tell you that at 2200K they're very warm. Also if low end is important to you at all, these are very dim at their lowest 1% and they have their "Night Light" mode, where if you flip the switch off and back on again, the little "halos" come on at your desired brightness.
