Nobody uses SAE anymore!
Even if all manufacturers magically stopped making things with SAE fasteners today, there'd still be billions of SAE things out there that will need fixing.

A lot of things still use SAE. Strut straps, concrete anchors, junction/pull boxes, bolts and nuts for lug termination, etc.

Right?! In commercial/industrial plumbing everything is SAE. I don't even carry metric wrenches anymore. I feel like these kinds of comments are from homeowners that only use tools to change the oil in their Hondas.

Have the metric and the wrench roll is insanely good.

How would we compare these to work pro flex heads?

Those are not plumbing wrenches, bub.
They're plumbing wrenches when I use them to decouple a motor from a pump or disconnect pipe flanges...

Got these and the metric set for about $30 each at Lowes a couple years ago, though I havent seen them come down that cheap again. Good wrenches, good case. Only complaint is that they're thick

The point is that SAE doesn't do anything better than metric. It's just a thing for people stuck in the past.
well, you'd be better off directing your comment to the manufacturers of SAE hardware, not the people who need SAE wrenches because the hardware exists.

Everything inside the home uses SAE. Literally everything, from construction to appliances, to plumbing. Visit Home Depot and the entire store is SAE except for the one chest of metric fasteners and the half isle of machine screw baggies.
