I returned mine. There was barely any storage depth on the half with the handle. On the other half, there's nothing you can zip to hold your contents inside, so when you open the suitcase everything falls out.

Thanks for the heads up. Did you end up with something else you found better?

I got the Merlot version earlier in the summer for $131.xx after taxes for this same bundle. I just checked the 24" and it does have a fully zippered top inside, and bottom has the latching belt to hold things in. It is shown in the pictures for Merlot.

Are you opening the suitcase when it is upright? Can't think of any other way for everything to fall out. Are you sure you got Omni 2 and not the Omni or something else?

Also, Olive color Large + Carry On is available for $162.10 for those who need it.

I went back to my old Samsonite which has a zipper on both sides, instead of a latching belt on one side (which in my opinion doesn't hold contents well at all)

Yeah, I warned people the last time this popped up. The carryon is smaller than a kid's suitcase. It's so much smaller than you would expect. I did a test and could not even pack for 2 days and could fit more in a standard "school" backpack that fits under the seat. I returned mine as well. That's probably why they go on sale so often.

The storage layout is making me hesitate a bit. Still a decent price though.

I have grey version. Personally, I don't like hardside luggage for the fact that they are divided equally into 2 halves:
  • Very difficult for seniors such as my parents to arrange things since the luggage needs to lay down on the floor with both sides open. Once you fill them, it is now heavy to lift and close the top half. Plus, it takes lot of space on the floor.
  • When divided equally, items that higher that half length are difficutly be arranged in the luggage.
I prefer softside luggages, just to lay it down, then just lift the opening tab, fill things in, close tab and go. Especially for my aged parents.

The specs are wrong is the biggest problem.

Says 22x14x9 which is a full size carryon. But it is actually 20x12x8

That's interesting. Is that the carry-on version or the medium check-in? Hard to find suitcases with two zippered sections inside.
