These things are not good as a UPS, correct? You shouldn't keep them plugged in and charging (ruin battery). Also not instantaneous power on (for computers, and such)?

The good news is that the AE power station is half the weight of the US version.Wink

Can't comment on this one, but Anker F3800 plus will do all of the things you asked about. I belive it can charge from solar and grid and feed the house at the same time. The benifit for us poor souls in Calif is running battery power from 4 to 9 pm, and charging during the low peak hours in summer. It saves more than 50% with the right plan ($0.59 to $0.26 for 1 kWh)

as far as computers are concerned, this is not a UPS so in case of power failure the power transfer won't be as quick and it may interrupt the uptime. for other things, UPS batteries only last 1-2 years before you need a new one while LiFePO will in theory last many many years

More like a charge back. Trying to get a refund from Aliexpress is like pulling teeth.

UPS batteries last closer to 5 years. 1-2 years is categorically incorrect.

Has anybody tried getting these hooked up to your home power with solar, maybe with battery add-ons to have battery backup for your house, and sort of off-gridability?

Store reviews are 2.4. When stuff is too good to be true it usually is.

Can you explain how you use the Anker to let it run your house during peak hours?

That would require installation of a switch, about $1000.
