That should last you towards almost the end of the year with Black Friday coming up, which I believe you can use it on of course?

So less than a 15% expiring discount in a year no one can afford to do a build

There will likely be a better promo card given during BFriday (20/25$) if you only want to buy 1.

Buying parts for a build now and it's been a mix of Newegg, microcenter, best buy (surprisingly), and Amazon. The most savings were from microcenter, with best buy second.

Just a heads up in case anyone was wondering, newegg let's you use both the promo gift card and the $100 gift card together in the same transaction. I just used both to buy a psu I was gonna buy anyway, but saved $15 with this promo.

Yea, thankfully the competition online against microcenter has gotten a lot better. The 9850X3D bundle is $920 at Microcenter but I was able to get a better quality MSI mobo, same speed 32GB ram, and the 9850X3D for a total of $800 by shopping around and taking advantage of things like this giftcard promo stuff from various retailers. Still not quite as good as pre rampocalypse pricing but at least its "closer"

I've been parting together stuff the same size build. What case are you going with? I chose the Zalman P10 NAMU, but there are other nice ones that are smaller. I'm loading mine with drives for a relatively silent Proxmox server build.

DIYPC DIY-mATX06-Wood Black but got it since its a good price with room to work in but still smaller than a full size ATX case. There are nicer mATX cases out there though.
