This barebones AM02 stands out as a low entry price for a Ryzen 7 H255 mini PC with Radeon 780M graphics, especially for anyone already sitting on RAM and an SSD. The chassis is quiet, boots fast, and can handle light to moderate gaming well, with BIOS updates and driver support available from Firebat. The main drawbacks are warm memory under load and the lack of OCuLink or USB4, so expansion headroom is limited. It is a practical pick if you want 780M performance without paying for a full prebuilt.

Honestly, with RAM and SSD prices being the way they are and me not having any spare DDR5 SO-DIMMs on-hand, it seems like a full prebuilt is going to be more cost effective than barebones DIY.
I've seen a couple of options for $500-600 but the brands (Getorli, Glorlin, Reatan) seem even iffier compared to other Chinese-branded Mini-PCs. I've been looking daily for a good deal but if I don't find one, I reckon I'll wait and see what pops up during Prime Days.
And after I've checked current RAM and SSD pricing, this barebones really isn't any cheaper than a full prebuilt. I feel like every time I check parts pricing, RAM has gone up again by $50+ per 16GB.

The machine ran very well. It had a super fast boot time. Games played as good as it can with a 780m. I would recommend buying laptop fan and keep it ontop of it during game play but you don't have to. The machine is also very quiet.
The one good thing about Firebat VS Acemagic is that Firebat does release new bios updates when needed... and acemagic usually never release any bios updates.
For this price, I think it is a buy. I have 32GB of DDR5 5600 RAM but no hard drive.
