I get the shoe may be the color of cardboard but do you have to point that out, Adidas???

Seriously poor marketing to call the color cardboard.

Truly. Even "dirt" would've been better. I honestly wouldn't have thought it was the exact color of cardboard but now that I've read it I can't unsee it.

I bought these a few months ago through another sale and the color describes how durable these feel

I normally love Adidas but their hiking shoes suck. They have a tight toe box that has something like a steel toe. That toe box messed up my toes. Some of my toe nails fell off. I don't understand the design unless these shoes are meant for bouldering and not general hiking. The model I got via slickdeals was not cheap even on sale despite the big design flaws.

Maybe they're using AI to generate marketing now?

Might be a different shoe, but the cons listed are the same as another pair of hikjng/trail shoes from adidas. Wouldn't be surprised if this model suffers from the same design flaw. Watch out for the toe box. You won't feel it on short sub 10 minute walks but the pain will start around 15-20 minutes of just walking, especially downhill. Their trail running shoes have it too which make no sense.

I bought these in a past sale and returned them immediately. The size was way too big (long) and the comfort when walking around my house was terrible.

Who the heck complains about the cardboard color 🤦🏻 ♂️. Yes ridiculous name. They can call it vomit but the color is great. Name is horrible I get it. I have this pair and have wore it on 2 hikes. The most recent in Big Bear for 7 miles and about 1,200 elevation gain. Nothing too crazy as I normally do longer and higher elevation but these felt great. Good addition to my many boots. Toe box is a bit weird but nothing crazy. I wear 11.5 and got 11.5 and fit perfect. Someone said toe nails were lost. It's happened to me with $300 boots and it didn't when using $100 boots. Just make sure you super tight the laces around the ankles. Going downhill is tricky. My toes were hurting but because I'm clumsy and kept banging my boots on rocks for not paying attention. All in all, great pair of boots for this price. Definitely worth it. And they look nice as heck. Who cares about the name. Doesb't sound like anyone here has actually used these on an actual trail other than walking. Come on people. Use these for intended purpose. I hope this helps someone. I'd buy again for this price. I got them cheaper last time around from ebay. Still good price and worth it.

I love these boots (in black). I also own 2 pairs of Solomon brand. These are quite comfortable

I bought a pair a few months ago to take on my trip to Iceland. At first, they felt cheap and flimsy. But they held up extremely well hiking on lava and uneven terrain. They are still going strong!
