I was originally planning to replace my Eufy smart lock with the Aqara U100, but once I saw the U400 with UWB support, I decided to go that route instead. I first ordered the U400 from Amazon for $269, but it's still unopened and I'll be returning it once the Costco order arrives.
The Costco bundle was just too good to pass up since it includes two batteries and the M100 hub. I already have an M3 hub that I picked up from Facebook Marketplace, so the M100 is really just a bonus for me.
I've also seen some confusion about whether this version is the same as the one Apple sells. My understanding is that the Apple Store version is more of a premium-finish variant, with more metal and a more upscale exterior design, while the internal lock mechanism and core functionality are essentially the same.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the main difference is that the Apple version looks and feels more premium, while the Amazon/Costco version uses a bit more plastic in the exterior construction.
