Not great, not terrible. At this price probably an acceptable deal (even if barely) for an unlocked phone with decent functionality.
Specs: 4GB RAM, MediaTec CPU, 64GB storage.
Pros: SD Card, Dual-SIM with eSIM, 3.5mm audio jack, 2026 model (with 2yrs of support only, sadly, due to Motorola's policies)
Motorola is already planning to release a flagship this year w/ a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip, the Motorola Signature which I'm currently looking forward to.

Yes since they stopped releasing The Edge Plus line the fastest candy bar phone they have is the Motorola stylus 5G which is the middle of the road phone. I'm just hoping this signature phone doesn't have a smaller screen then the stylist and doesn't have those stupid curved edges

If the screen of the "Signature" is anything like either the edge+ 2023's or the edge 2024's then we'll be in good shape.

Mediocre deal, and Motorola is now putting ads on people's phones with the malware Glance app which keeps reinstalling and re-activating itself no matter what you do to get rid of it.
I have to wonder if their business is failing so they're trying to grab some ad money before everything collapses, they won't have many repeat customers if they keep pushing malware onto people's phones

These go on sale better than that price all the time on QVC. If you don't mind last years model, it's only $65 for the Moto G Play WITH a years worth of service. They go on sale for 2/$100 ever so often as well.
IDK if the 2026 model is better or worse than the previous gen, but i've got 4 of the '24 models, three in daily use, and they are decent basic phones with good battery life. Much better reception on the same network as my samsung phones (A and S models), and the speaker is noticeably louder as well.
Not a deal for even an unlocked version. Look into deals for the locked version, ~$40-$49?
I liked my 2021 G Plays but it's not suitable for a primary phone. Good for: kids, seniors, phone only line, emergency backup...

I have one, the 4gb of ram is rough in 2026. It's usable but expect a ton of little hang ups everywhere
