I picked up the 420 used for about $150 and it's been great for my needs. It doesn't support Dolby Vision, but I wasn't too concerned with that since I wanted the better upscaling in exchange since I still buy and own quite a few Blu-Rays. Plus my TV isn't OLED and doesn't upscale much if any.
The 450 supports dolby vision but doesn't have the same chip for HDR optimization or upscaling.

Community Reviews
The deal is for 4K UHD movies, with standout value when the titles are ones that benefit from a proper 4K Blu ray setup. The strongest praise centers on the picture quality of discs like 2001 A Space Odyssey and Jaws, and the price can land a little over $8 per title when buying four. A proper player matters for full audio and video quality, since consoles do not handle 4K Blu ray as well and PS4 does not play it at all. Dolby Vision is a recurring limitation here, so the set fits best if your setup does not depend on it.
The deal can work out to roughly eight dollars per UHD movie when multiple titles are ordered together.
Some UHD transfers like 2001: A Space Odyssey and Jaws can look visually stunning on compatible 4K playback.
Panasonic UB420 playback can emphasize HDR optimization and upscaling for non-OLED TVs that do limited upscaling.
Panasonic UB420 and UB450 both provide dual HDMI outputs that can help avoid compatibility issues with older soundbars or receivers.
Godzilla is not available digitally, which can make the deal less appealing for digital-watch plans.
Console playback can underperform compared with a dedicated 4K Blu-ray player because consoles are primarily game systems.
Some 4K UHD discs may lack Dolby Vision support, which can limit the experience on Dolby Vision-focused setups.
Sony 4K Blu-ray players may require manually toggling Dolby Vision settings when switching discs.

At this point, that's likely a Sony player.
Drawback, glitch issues are hit n miss & DV is manual on/off.
Panasonic are considered better but cost more especially if you want DV option.
