Community Reviews

This compact 100W GaN charger stands out for travel and everyday laptop charging, with two USB C ports and one USB A port in a smaller body than some competing bricks. The community notes fast charging on a single USB C port, useful power sharing across ports, and cooler running than older silicon chargers. It also appears to handle 65W laptops and lighter daily loads well. The main caveat is reliability at the top end, with reports of overheating, port failures, and units dying after weeks or months, so it seems best suited to moderate use rather than sustained max output.

Common Questions (5)

  • It has worked well for some daily use, including travel and work charging, and several reports mention no issues after weeks or a month. There are also reports of USB-C port failure, a charger dying after about two months, and recent reviews citing units that stopped charging within a week or month.

  • The code can work on both colors, but it may require entering it during checkout and clicking the arrow to fully apply it. Some checkouts showed the discount only after a couple of tries, while other reports say the white version had a separate $10-off promotion and the code did not apply.

  • It can handle 65W laptops and has been used with a Lenovo Legion 5 for light-to-moderate charging without excessive heat. It is less ideal for sustained full-tilt gaming loads, and one report says it shut down after about 51 minutes at 98W with the case reaching 168°F.

  • It is compact enough that one buyer returned a larger UGreen charger and kept this one because it is easier to travel with. The charger is described as the same size as a Baseus 100W unit, with a foldable design that makes it convenient for a bag or carry-on.

  • Yes. A single USB-C port can output 100W, both USB-C ports together split to 70W/30W, USB-C plus USB-A can do 70W/18W, and all three ports together split to 70W/12W/12W. That makes it suitable for one laptop at full speed or multiple lower-power devices at once.

Has anyone measured actual output with both C ports in use? A lot of these "100W" bricks split to like 65/30 and don't say it on the listing.
The picture in their description on amazon shows both usb c ports can do 100 watts on their own, 70/30 for both usb c ports, and 70/12/12 for all 3 ports.

A lot of these cheap chargers struggle to actually achieve their rated power though. I would be more curious if it can actually do 100 watts.

What is Lenovo product marketplace? Is this a third party using a third party to sell on Amazon so we don't know the real seller? Also how can a tiny charger like this be 100w without burning down the house?

I can't speak for all of these word-salad brands - but I can say I've never had one from anker and similar brands fail. - usually it's the license only brands that have gotten me for a quick sale and fell apart... (the bell & howells, the rcas, Westinghouse etc)
The Anker Zolo disappointed me. Only charges to half capacity with barely any usage after a year. Guessing there's some dead cells.
I have Ankers from 2013 and forward that are still in use. But not the Zolo.

Is $15.99 the lowest price regardless of color or promo code used?

XBUJNU3S still seems to take off $24.00 ($19.00 Prime) for both black and white, but sometimes it can take a couple of tries for Amazon to accept codes.

This will be my second one, powering 65W laptops no problem. For this use case, it's fine. Code works fine still, make sure you apply the promo code DURING CHECKOUT. The 15% off or whatever the % checkbox in the product page is NOT what you want. Use the PROMO/VOUCHER during checkout and input the code there. After that, a line with promotional -$xx.xx will appear during checkout.

Smokes... I was doing it wrong. I was probably making the same mistake as others. I put in the code and clicked "use this payment method", which showed a ~$5 savings and not the $19. Turns out you must click the arrow -> to the right of the code entry to actually complete the entering of the code for the $19 to show up!

I got 51 minutes at 98 watts before the unit shut down, presumably due to overheating. The case reached 168°.

I wouldn't. I think due to it's size, this is better suited to phone charging.
