Seems pretty good if you've got a micro center around. The bundle is $10 less than the price of the memory on their website. The MB and processor are $350 on the site so $130 for 32gb of DDR5 is pretty reasonable.

9600X is the AMD equivalent so unless you need this for anything other than gaming your better off going AMD

Where's that bundle with 32gb of ram for this same price? Also this has way more threads than a 9600x and will kill it in productivity. Not sure what you even mean

I can't believe I bought a kit four years ago with 64 GB of the same memory for $380. This is insane. Something is terribly wrong.

Please forgive the stupid questions but I am old I have a TBI and I have never built a computer. If I understand all of this correctly. All i would need is a heat sink and fan a case with fans power supply and operating system and memory/hard drive. Am I missing anything other then wires? Any and all input is welcome and would be helpful. I would love to build a computer with my Son. The only thing I am really worried about is the price of the operating system. thanks

How is that the equivalent? They aren't even close especially in multi-core productivity? Even in everything else the 250KF pulls ahead including gaming.

You would still need a discreet GPU as this CPU is the KF version and doesn't come with integrated graphics. This bundle includes a microATX motherboard, if you're fine with this form factor then I would recommend an appropriate case such as the bitfenix nova mesh m that includes 3 argb fans. For the operating system you can find deals here for a discounted oem key for a handful of dollars. Best of luck to you.

I saw 128gb of ddr4 for $490 yesterday on ebay. 4x32gb 2666mhz. I know it doesn't get you the cpu bound gaming frame rates to 240fps 1440p in a lot of games. But if youre gpu bound then you can hit 240fps 4k no problem. But if youre getting 128gb its not just for gaming any how. Otherwise yeah this 32gb kit is good. Im still sore about it being cmxt 6000 cl36 at over $400. They should be cl26 for 400

You can use Windows 11 unactivated for as long as you want, you have a watermark and can't make some changes like wallpapers. Activate it when you can afford it.
