Not a SD.

The S2000 has been this price for the past year on Amazon. The power strip inflates the price $999. That's one hell of a mark up for a power strip.

~$500 for the S2000 by itself is $250/kWh, which for the Anker/EcoFlow brand names is a great price, especially since that includes the inverter.

I have been waiting for it to come at this price and then I am in for a few to replace a bunch of UPS' that have had their lead acid batteries die.

I really don't get the use cases of these, just to keep a router powered and maybe make few cups of coffee only before it's gone, it won't even run full desktop with 500w PSU for more than few hours at half load along with router, switch etc at this price. It seems like very difficult to justify. Maybe if you can keep charging it while using it with large solar panels just during daytime?

There are plenty of reasons for these. If you have a time of use electrical billing plan you can run something like a refrigerator only on the battery during peak hours and charge while it's lower cost. The S2000 can do this automatically once you get it set up. You can use these where someone may need a portable generator in the field, tailgate or construction. If you are in a weather sensitive area and do have a generator you can charge this device and run your mission critical loads and manage your gas/fuel usage if trying to conserve. If you need a standard UPS these will likely fit the bill and the LFP batteries will likely run 10+ years. Compare the power ratings for this and something like a lead acid UPS from APC or Cyberpower.

There are endless use cases for a device like this for people who have a need.

It may not be for you if the only use you can come up with is keeping a router powered or making coffee.
