This summer I went on a week long rafting trip. One of the other guys I was boating with brought something like this to run his CPAP while we were on the river. He underestimated his battery needs a bit but thankfully I had a 30 watt solar panel with me so we were able to charge him up.
I do wish the inverter on this was just a little bigger. Unfortunately this would not be able to run a microwave or small convection oven. In the three day outage I was in we cooked on the convection Oven constantly With a Delta 2. Sad this wouldn't be able to do it but still quite useful...
