I bought this exact one , exact price a couple months ago. I'm not a tech guy tbh . I ran a cat6 cable a month prior to buying this to run a ps5 bc I'm kinda far from my router and occasionally had issues. Since I ran a cat 6 cable anyway may as well plug in my smart tv and cable box that also was running on WiFi. Obviously for 8$ this switch is not top of the line. I understand it's not meant to be fast. The part I don't get is I can stream a tv show, music or a live video game (imo that would /should require high speed internet) no issue. Prior I would get all kinds of skipping or spinning circles etc but now if I want to download something I get no more circles but it's so slow. If it normally take 15 mins it now takes several hours. My last ps5 download I actually disconnected my ps5 from the switch and used WiFi instead lol which is ironic bc I ran the cat6 for the ps5 originally. Is there something I can do to improve my download speed using this switch?
