have a pair of Revels from basically a decade ago and have held up as a comfortable around-the-house shoe. initially used as jogging shoes and did a good job there but there are better solutions for running these days. they're on their last leg so may scoop another pair here for a new house shoe.

i have similar issue (heel pain) ,doctor suggested to use little firmer shoes . does these feel firmer ?

Oh interesting! I started having heel pain after wearing a second pair of On Cloudtilt that is 1/2 size too large and flat. I don't get that with super cushy Hoka's. I have gone through several pairs of Hokas without heel pain.
