Brooks Revel 8 is a lightweight everyday running shoe that also works well as a comfortable casual pair. The cushioning and support feel good for long wear, with some finding relief from foot or back pain, and the fit is true to size for some. The main knocks are that it can run small and tight in the midfoot, with a short tongue, short laces, and a floppy heel tab. A few also found the cushioning thin and the build less impressive than expected, so it suits shoppers who want a simple Brooks fit more than a plush ride.

  • The Revel 8 can help reduce foot pain for people who found other cushioned shoes too soft.

  • The Revel 8 can feel comfortable for around-the-house wear and light jogging use.

  • The Revel 8 can feel comfortable for back support needs.

    HappyBuffalo8510

  • The Revel 8 can run true to size for some buyers.

    HappyBuffalo8510

  • The Revel 8 can feel too small or tight in the midfoot, and some buyers report needing a half size up.

    ElPipochitownSoxmobygrape

  • The Revel 8 can wear out quickly when used for running, with estimates around three months.

    Ryan870humpstyles

  • The Revel 8 deal price can be less compelling because it has been the highest level within the past 30 days.

    flanghorflanghor

  • The Revel 8 can have fit and entry friction, including a floppy heel pull tab and the need for a shoehorn.

have a pair of Revels from basically a decade ago and have held up as a comfortable around-the-house shoe. initially used as jogging shoes and did a good job there but there are better solutions for running these days. they're on their last leg so may scoop another pair here for a new house shoe.

Oh interesting! I started having heel pain after wearing a second pair of On Cloudtilt that is 1/2 size too large and flat. I don't get that with super cushy Hoka's. I have gone through several pairs of Hokas without heel pain.

The price dropped down from $100 just before mid September.

That might be why they are cheaper right?

You wear same shoes 10 years? That's cheap!
