OnePay: $1 Cashback Per Gallon Of Gas Every Wednesday (50 Gallons, Two Redemptions Per Day)

Must have the One Pay app on your phone, free to download at Play or Apple Stores.

(PERSONAL FEEDBACK -- Been doing this deal since it started. All my earnings have tracked properly. Takes 2-3 days in my experience for the credits to show up. You can then redeem the points back into cash in your One Pay Wallet to use for any purchases, including more gasoline the next week. Not only do you get $1 back, you also get the preset per gallon price earning at the station you redeem at. For instance, I got $1.14 per gallon doing this at Shell the other day. PLUS the Shell Rewards discount which some get 10-20c off per gallon with TMobile or other codes.

So let's say price at the pump is $4.40. less 10c Shell Rewards discount $4.30, less $1.10 per gallon BACK on Wednesday ($1 One Pay plus 10c station offers), net is $3.20. Use a Visa or other cc offering 5% rewards, get back 5% on the FULL COST. 15 gallons = $64.50, get back $3.23 in cc rewards at 5%.

WORD OF CAUTION: Do not use a DISCOVER CARD! Although you can add it to your One Pay wallet, they do not report to One Pay, and you won't get the points.

Bonus Term: 10/07/2026 – 01/15/2027. Each Wednesday (from 12:00 AM-11:59 PM Pacific Time) during the Bonus Term, purchases of gas made only with an eligible OnePay debit or Builder Card using a OnePay Reward gas offer (Gas Offer) can earn $1 cash back per gallon, subject to the limitations of the Gas Offer used (e.g. spend caps or gallon caps). Only purchases made on a Wednesday qualify for this Bonus. The $1 cash back per gallon is the total amount earned on a qualifying purchase. It replaces, and is not in addition to, the cash back amount stated in the OnePay app for the Gas Offer used. Purchases made with a OnePay CashRewards Card or third-party cards linked in the OnePay Wallet are not eligible for this Bonus. Gas Offers are not available in New Jersey or Wisconsin. Caps vary by Gas Offer and details can be found in the OnePay app. This Bonus may be modified or canceled at any time, with or without notice.

Does this work at ALL gas stations or a subset like the upside app? The "love's truckstop" near me that always has the lowest price on gas around my area no longer participates in upside from what I can tell which basically made it useless to me. I do have a 5% back card for gas I could tie to it.

The new terms seem to state you must use the OnePay debit or builder card. Still a great deal, I guess they know the war will go on past the midterms

Just find the gas station listed in the app offer list on Wednesday. Activate and pay with your OnePay card

I did that. But that card isn't 5% CB at gas stations. It's supposed to be things in the wallet. I also tried my Onepay CC that I use at Walmart and that didn't give it either

It's like UPSIDE, you have to choose from a participating station in your area and activate that station prior to going and pumping the gas. You have 4 hours from activation time to get the gasoline (there's a countdown clock showing you time left)

However, even if that station is say 15c more a gallon than across the street, still pays to do it.

still come out at least 85c cheaper + whatever brand app (BP, Shell, etc) discount off per gallon you get at the pump. As I noted, got $1.14 per gallon on Wednesday and my Shell was in line with other stations in the general area give or take 5c per gallon.

No, you're not following my OP Post.

If you have a Visa or MC with a 5% gasoline CB offer (or possibly Amex, think Amex is a card you can link/use, but don't quote me as I don't use my Amex for gas)

1. Be sure to add to your One Pay wallet the Visa/MC with the gas cashback on that card. 5%, 3%, whatever it is.

2. after adding that card to your wallet on ONE PAY. activate the gas offer at the station on Wednesday.

3. Pay AT THE PUMP with the physical card (inserted with chip) Visa/MC you get the gasoline cb on. The total charged goes on that credit card, the # of gallons purchased comes back as points on one pay. so 20 gallons at $1.10 per, you $22 in points on One Pay AND the 5% (or whatever %) in rewards on the FULL AMOUNT charged. so a $90 charge would earn $4.50 in Visa/MC CC rewards at 5% back.

That's exactly what I did.

Add card
Activate offer
Pay at pump with card.

It didn't work two different cards. Like I (just me) had issues. For those that get it to work it's a banger of a deal and congrats.

Can I ask what kind of card you paid with? was it a mastercard or visa? and pay at the pump, did you use the physical card in the chip reader? (not via app pay or the tap and pay)

Always physical at the pump. I have several CC I honestly don't remember. I'm pretty sure it was a PayPal debit (MasterCard I think) and the other was no idea anymore tbh.

I've just overloaded 7-11 and used plastic cans. I'm going to try my new Visa small purchase see if it connects. If that's no go I'm just gonna go with the onepay debit and get it at 3% CB. $1 off ~$4 is still 25%

Good luck, not sure how well debit cards outside of a major bank work with their reporting mechanisms.

I've always used an actual major bank credit card (or One Pay Debit). Only time I didn't get my money was with Discover card and One Pay did nada to help me even though I had all my backup (gas receipt). So I never used it again. but always got my points with a Visa CC.
