Toshiba is made by Midea. I have a model much like this one. It's an interesting control system on it. It defaults to microwave mode. You can set the time a couple of ways. Press the knob can you get 30 seconds each time. Otherwise, you turn the known counterclockwise and it starts at 60 min and takes off min as you turn. It sounds clunky, but it goes quickly.

I have one , it's not the greatest air fryer but works for chicken nuggets and fries , I usually add 2-3 minutes more than the instructions since it seems to be less efficient than a standalone air fryer. As a microwave is solid I like this one overall , same price I purchased 2 years ago

No, it doesn't shut off.

I got this on a prior slickdeal. The air fryer is not as good as the Ninja one we had before, but the front load is more cabinet friendly than a top loader. I actually like the knob/button time setting-- it's very quick once you figure it out.

Can't speak for this particular All-in-1, but in general, I haven't found any that do more than a couple of things well. I just returned the Panasonic version that Costco Online is carrying. The only thing it did particularly well was microwave, which seems to be the case for most of these combo microwaves. The Air Fryer in mine was mediocre at best. Even an inexpensive dedicated Air Fryer would give consistently better results. Also, the interior space was reduced due to the elements on top compared to our 1.3 cu ft Panasonic microwave bought in the Costco store. Even the Breville version gets mixed reviews, and that one costs an arm and a leg by comparison. I've given up on saving counter space. For now at least, dedicated appliances seems to be the best case scenario.

I have an older model of this. ML2-EC10SA(BS). A few things to keep in mind, while air frying something you won't be able to microwave side dishes. I end up heating up more sides on the stove because can't microwave something and air fry something when they are the same appliance. Sometimes I'll microwave a bag of veggies first and then air fry something.

Air frying takes longer in this appliance vs a dedicated air fryer with a basket and smaller volume to heat.
This appliance needs 3" of clearance above and behind the unit.

9inch non-stick pie or cake pan works well enough for air frying some things with less cleanup underneath Especially if you flip half-way.
Getting a silicone mat for the turntable is nice for cleanup when using the air fryer basket.

Popcorn button is about 1 min off from a standard 3.5oz bag of popcorn, I try to cook for 1 min on max (30 sec button twice) and then press the popcorn button.

My standard for air frying: press the Air Fryer button, counter clockwise to get the max 425 degrees, press the knob, then set the time.

Hitting cancel button twice turns off the clock. Otherwise it's too bright when getting water at 2AM.

There's a handy chart on the microwave for the smart defrost options.
