Lithium Polymer. So probably spicy pillows in 2-3 years. Just saying, decent prices.

I was waiting for a deal like this for our upcoming trip. I grabbed two in the same order, and the promo code reduced the price of both, so, if you need more than one, you can order them in the same order.

Nah, the BMS has gotten better. Just keep it 20-80% charge range.

I have literally dozens of modern units, and none have spicy pillowed by keeping to that cycle.

It's storing at 0% or 100% that'll do that. Releases hydrogen into the pack.

Baseus Blade thin units are at the highest risk.

This is a good deal, by the way. Inflation, tariffs and shipping has reduced the deal rate on these.

Have you had trouble with your Blade power banks? I bought two of them over a year ago, and they have not given me any issue as of yet and I don't see any disformation.

Blade uses a pouch polymer cell similar to a modern laptop or tablet. These are inherently more prone to overcharge and failure, as cylindrical cells balance better.

This is also polymer, but looks like one cell. So the balance risk is minimal with proper BMS.

When a laptop battery fails or bloats, it's usually one unbalanced pack in the series that starts the overcharging or undervolting, and subsequent spicy pillows.

Stay away from UGREEN, it's SCAM company, brand new devices from this company won't work. My brand new earbuds from this company didn't work even after full charging. IMHO.

I mean, it's worth the extra few bucks to not have to worry about how I charge/discharge my new pack. Imagine needing your new battery to charge your phone, but not wanting to use it because it's at 20%. lol Your 20k capacity is now 11k.

All companies put out a lemon now and then. I think the more important data is how UGREEN responded. Did they take care of the issue?

Obviously you have to be a rational actor. Rules of thumb are not death pacts.
