Hop on Facebook and sift the Starfield groups. It's good and draws people in. It doesn't draw as many in as Skyrim did. That doesn't mean it isn't good, but it may not be the game for you.

This game is just as empty and lifeless as the reviewers say it is. They haven't fixed that. If you're going to play this, you really need to look into mods to try to make it feel somewhat more immersive. The game had so much potential for exploration, instead you're left with dead, empty spaces that don't feel worth exploring after you've done it once or twice.

The campaign story also isn't anything to write home about, so if you've played games with good campaigns or stories, this isn't going to be one of them.

If you've never played Skyrim, I suggest you invest some time into that. It's just an overall better game to enjoy. Even OG Cyberpunk with all of its flaws is still a better game than Starfield is right now.
I would probably recommend this game if it were under $20, somewhere in the $10-15 range is reasonable for what you get.

This seals the decision for me, I love a good story, trash story and you might as well be playing minecraft hitting blocks for 40 hours. I think I will pass

Played through once at release. Still over priced. Never replayed again. Still play Fallout 76 every day since 2018. Beth fumbled hard on this game, Starfield.

I am a big space exploration person and really loved this game. I finished the game on my Z1E with some graphical mods and it was playable and enjoyable experience for me.

Pretty sure there suppose to add another dlc after the terra one

Of course people will play this game with mods. Just like Skyrim, just like Fallout. This game is actually pretty good if you have the right expectation of what you would expect from a Bethesda game where mods will make the game better. 8 out of 10 game for me, have over 600 hours already and half of that was before mods.

I've been waiting for the Premium Edition to drop to ~$20. I have 100 hr. in the base game (much in ship/base building) and have been itching to play the DLC.

I was so stoked about this game that I pre-purchased the Premium edition of it. I put in about 25ish hours and I couldn't do anymore. I love RPGs and FPSs, so I pushed a little further to the point where it was just too boring to move on. It would have been better if you could land on a planet and be wowed, but you land on a desert that has no character. Just a dull dirt ball. So, you spend a lot of time running with nothing to do. If there were things to collect, some animals, anything other than just dirt, then it wouldn't be too bad. Also, it says it's open world, but I'm not too sure. I would say it's more like zones. It was just not for me.

It's subjective. First 10 hours is a drag until the stakes rise but then as you get Invested in the story and do some faction quests it really opens up. I love it now. I grew up on the elder scrolls / fallout games so it scratches that itch for me. Subjective but again I think it's great and I'm about 30 hours into it.
