Lucky, I'm not getting that on my side.

Wondering if I should still pull the trigger. Been awhile since my local Hmart had a sale (although usually that's the CJ brand)

That is the online price. In warehouse it is actually $11.89. You can see the warehouse price in the costco app

I never understood these. Cooking small portion of rice is so easy and cheap. You can make rice in 15 minutes.
  • 1 cup of rice + 1 cup of water in a pot.
  • Bring the water to boil with a lid.
  • As soon as the water starts to boil, turn the heat down to low/simmer.
  • Cook for about 10 minutes or until the water is all gone.

No dishes and 90 seconds. Worth it for some.

We buy a 11lb bag of short grain Japanese rice and cook it in a Japanese Zojirushi rice maker. Not in a rush.

Jasmine rice in my instant pot takes 5 minutes plus 10 minutes of natural release plus 5 minutes or so of warm up time. I do it regularly. This is a faster alternative. Both can exist and be fine options.

In theory but I don't microwave these in the plastic bowl. I get that a lot of people do but if you're doing this on a daily basis it can't be safe.

3min pressured. Need time to build up and then leave pressure on about 10min to finish. Sounds like you have never done it
