Is this monitor any good or is the price inflated to make this sale look good
Yes, and Yes. The monitor is on sale for $599 almost all the time with a retail price of $699. So it is a good deal on a good monitor not just as good of a deal as they make it out to be.

There are some other good deals out the for Miniled but for a 4K this is a good deal, most QHD are between 300-200 the lowest I've seen is a KTC 180 HZ for 190 and that very same panel on another AOC for 200 on B&H so I'll say it's a good deal for a 4k miniled., I wish it was the one with 2200 zones.

I was between this and the Acer oled on sale at Walmart. Was dead set on an oled until I saw this deal. 4k. Multiple hdmi ports. DP port. High refresh rates. And no screen burn in!
What's the differences between this C2GMA series and the TCL C2A series? I can only find C2A on their official website, and seems like there is nothing different between the specs of these two models.
Samsung got relative 20% off, but TCL seems using much newer technologies, better refresh rate with dual mode (4K 160Hz / 1K 320Hz). Although C2GMA only has 1196 dimming zone, less than some flagship models nowadays with 2340+ zones, and Samsung probably has better quality, I am still in a dilemma.

I got this. If anyone wants to know - local dimming works in SDR, it is a super matte display which is noticeable vs my other standard matte monitors, the stand is extremely wobbly. Overall panel looks good but build quality in my opinion is lacking
