Yes. At $64 it is cheap, but it is a weak buy if you want real stainless that can sear meat.
The listing is the Gotham Steel 10-piece "tri-ply stainless" set (Amazon ASIN B0FX5P2FT2): 8" and 10" fry pans, 1.5 qt and 2.5 qt saucepans with lids, a 5 qt stockpot with lid, and two pan protectors. Slickdeals has almost no product discussion, just that it is sold by Amazon. It is not the kind of tri-ply you think it is. "Tri-ply induction base" means a bonded disc on the bottom, not fully clad walls like All-Clad. Sidewalls stay thin, so heat is uneven above the base, retention is poor, and high heat scorches food. That is a bad match for searing steaks or browning meat. The surface story does not add up. The bullets say a bare stainless cooking surface that is metal-utensil safe. Gotham's own care page for this exact set talks about a nonstick ceramic coating, medium-to-low heat only, and avoiding sharp metal utensils. Amazon review highlights also mention nonstick and eggs not sticking. So either the interior is ceramic-coated, or the listing is sloppy. Either way, do not treat it as durable bare stainless. The brand's track record is the bigger problem. Gotham Steel's ceramic lines are a common complaint target: coating that flakes or stops releasing within months, sticking, warping, hot handles, and warranty/support that often goes nowhere. PissedConsumer sits around 1.7 stars on the brand. This specific set is newer and only has about 70 Amazon ratings at 4.4, and many of those read as "so far so good," not multi-year use.
The pieces are also small for family cooking. An 8" and 10" skillet plus a 5 qt pot will feel tight once more than one or two people are eating.
If you want pans that last and can take high heat, skip this and get one decent bare stainless, carbon steel, or cast-iron skillet instead of a full Gotham set. If you only need cheap nonstick for eggs and will replace it in a year, $64 is less painful, but still expect the coating to die first.
