This AERO X16 reads as a portable creator laptop with strong RAM, a fast 165 Hz display, and enough GPU power for light gaming and 3D work. The 32 GB of memory stands out, and the chassis appears to handle thermals well, with reported GPU temperatures around 69 to 71 C under load. Real world use includes SketchUp, Rhino, Mastercam, SolidWorks, and other modeling apps without issues. The main concerns are the RTX 5070's 8 GB of VRAM, the 85 W power limit, and the IPS panel versus OLED. Battery life has been described as either very good or around three hours, so it looks best for users who value portability and creator performance over top tier gaming.
Architecture students running SketchUp, Rhino, and similar modeling apps, because it handles those workloads with no issues and has strong battery life.
Light gamers who only play a few hours a month, because it runs those sessions well without feeling like a full-time gaming machine.
Students using Mastercam or SolidWorks for simple class models, because it supports those CAD tasks and is easy to practice on away from a school PC.
Mobile creators doing simpler AI image work, because the 12GB VRAM can still handle that level of creation.
Gamers expecting high-end RTX 5070 performance, because the 85W power limit and 8GB VRAM can leave the GPU feeling severely gimped.
Buyers who want an OLED display, because the IPS panel is a dealbreaker for them.
AI users running larger models, because 12GB VRAM cannot do a lot of AI work.
People who need long unplugged work sessions, because real-world battery life can land around three hours.

Yes the 5070 IS good but please do not justify that 8Gb vram isn't limiting on most titles the minimum I would say is 12. 85W vs the max wattage 5070 is what a 20% difference in performance and this is probably equivalent of a 5060-5050 desktop maybe
IPS is fine but if you had the option to go with OLED or IPS you will never go back to IPS screen screen.
Gigabyte is ranked one of the lowest in terms of customer service but most PC manufacturers are nowadays expect maybe Lenovo
