This AERO X16 reads as a portable creator laptop with strong RAM, a fast 165 Hz display, and enough GPU power for light gaming and 3D work. The 32 GB of memory stands out, and the chassis appears to handle thermals well, with reported GPU temperatures around 69 to 71 C under load. Real world use includes SketchUp, Rhino, Mastercam, SolidWorks, and other modeling apps without issues. The main concerns are the RTX 5070's 8 GB of VRAM, the 85 W power limit, and the IPS panel versus OLED. Battery life has been described as either very good or around three hours, so it looks best for users who value portability and creator performance over top tier gaming.

I haven't found any good deals for years.
Oled or no buy.
85w target power is also a huge set back, a severely gimped gpu.
Battery life on this is probably also in the 3hr real world trash tier.

You can't think of this as a gaming laptop. It's a regular laptop that just happens to have a dedicated graphics card. I use it for light gaming, a few hours a month and it works for me.
Screen is fine, it has 100% RGB. Definitely not an OLED.
$1000 is fine. If you want better features, you pay more too.
It has half the vram bandwidth due to the 128bit bus vs 192 on the ti.
Severely gimpped machine.
I bought this thing at $1000, I agree it's a good deal at $1000, but I still returned it, because of how disappointed I was with its gaming performance overall.
Ncrapia is just ripping people off at this point.
The 8gb is just a number, the impact on performance is insane,

The 'deals' are usually on low end systems that are just out there to sell for cheap prices but would really only be good for web browsing. Fine for a lot of folks but not for anyone looking for any type of performance.
It feels like the good deals that pop up on SD throughout the year beat any of the deals that are specifically for BF and Cyber Monday now.
