The Samsung Galaxy S25 USA variant includes specific mmWave and low-band frequencies, such as n71, as well as mmWave bands 257, 258, 260, and 261. The global/international version supports a wider range of Sub-6 GHz bands, including n28 and n78, but generally does not support high-frequency mmWave. T-Mobile: n41 + n71 + n25/n2 + n77, Verizon: n77 + n5/n2/n66 + mmWave, AT&T: n77 + n5/n2/n66
So if the Global S25 you're considering has n28 and n78 but is missing n71/n41/n77, that's a much bigger concern for US use than simply not having mmWave.
A few generations ago, the global version of the Galaxy S series used Samsung's Exynos chipset, while the USA and Japan versions used Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. Now, both the USA and global versions use the same chipset, so the main differences are the supported network bands and regional configurations.
This refurbished Galaxy S25 Ultra deal stands out for a big flagship upgrade at a relatively low price, especially since the price gap between Good, Very Good, and Excellent is small. The US version is unlocked with one SIM, and the phone keeps the S Pen while dropping microSD support. Battery life and refurb condition are the main concerns, with reports of dead batteries, moisture warnings, and occasional display or hygiene issues. It looks strongest for buyers who want the S25 Ultra hardware and can live with refurb uncertainty.
Samsung power users coming from an older S22 Ultra, because the battery life and overall experience are a major step up.
A new battery is not included, and buyers specifically questioned why an "Excellent" refurb would not have one. Battery concerns are a recurring issue here, including reports of completely dead batteries on arrival and long-term battery wear on Samsung Ultra models.
Unlocked units can work overseas if the local carrier bands match, and a local SIM or roaming can be used. The listing also says it will not work overseas, so international compatibility is not guaranteed by the seller description.
Yeah - waiting for delivery for s25u (256GB) for 1285 that came with buds 4 pro and 2 sets of Samsung screen protectors.
After s23 died I'm wary on refurb now if they gamed a lot on it shortening the cpu life (don't want to reball my s23). I kept it on lowest cpu setting too for heat management.
Anything bad about this deal? Everything looks pretty good but I'm still suspicious
There's always a (?) on refurbs. I've gotten an "excellent" one with earwax in the earpiece, only visible under magnification... it was very gross. I have no idea why the owner had that much earwax.

I don't get it, your s23 died on you? what is reball?
I'll hold out for black friday. my data-only sim should arrive today or tomorrow so i need a phone with a physical sim slot. iphone won't cut it.
I'll bite. I can't catch every stellar deal here where you gotta play Frogger with the requirements to get the deal. Coming from a S22 plus, 256gb memory, with notorious battery issues, even on battery saver. I deserve a break from that. I went with Excellent condition.
Been waiting to replace my s22 ultra since I broke the screen and replaced it with a shitty aftermarket one. The battery life has always been bad but especially atrocious now. I wonder if bf will get any better than this. I doubt you'll see much more than 50 lower if at all

Any clue if this is the us version vs global?
Of course I ordered even before asking the question.

Samsung power users coming from an older S22 Ultra, because the battery life and overall experience are a major step up.
Travelers using South American carriers, because the global version supports the regional LTE and 5G bands they need.
People who want a large-screen Samsung with stylus support, because it adds an S Pen and feels like a significant upgrade from an S23 FE.
Unlocked-phone buyers who need U.S. network compatibility, because the U.S. version supports the expected domestic bands and one SIM.
Refurb shoppers who expect pristine internals, because units can arrive with earwax in the earpiece or moisture warnings in the charging port.
People who need strong battery health out of the box, because refurbished units can arrive completely dead and may not include a fresh battery.
International travelers who need overseas use without checking bands, because the listing says unlocked yet also says it will not work overseas.
Users upgrading from an S23 Ultra for a dramatic jump, because the changes since the S23U are described as extremely minimal.
