This refurbished Galaxy S25 Ultra deal stands out for a big flagship upgrade at a relatively low price, especially since the price gap between Good, Very Good, and Excellent is small. The US version is unlocked with one SIM, and the phone keeps the S Pen while dropping microSD support. Battery life and refurb condition are the main concerns, with reports of dead batteries, moisture warnings, and occasional display or hygiene issues. It looks strongest for buyers who want the S25 Ultra hardware and can live with refurb uncertainty.

Common Questions (4)

  • A new battery is not included, and buyers specifically questioned why an "Excellent" refurb would not have one. Battery concerns are a recurring issue here, including reports of completely dead batteries on arrival and long-term battery wear on Samsung Ultra models.

  • Unlocked units can work overseas if the local carrier bands match, and a local SIM or roaming can be used. The listing also says it will not work overseas, so international compatibility is not guaranteed by the seller description.

  • It is the US version. It uses one SIM instead of dual SIM and has fewer system/menu languages than the global model.

  • No. The S25 Ultra does not include a microSD slot, so storage cannot be expanded with a memory card.

The most expensive mint condition unlocked model with these specs is $979 on swappa, so the real world savings is far less than advertised.

If you have samsung care then id suggest holding onto it still, the difference between the 2 phones isnt really drastic apart from the curved screen. The standout feature for the s26u was the privacy screen thing but idk i could live without it. Also the camera bump on the 26u is god awful. I got the s23u when it launched and didnt feel the need to upgrade until now but calling it an upgrade is a stretch. Im waiting on a deal so I can go back to the 23

If you're comparing Pixels to another brand, you probably should think about owning a Pixel. It's moreso a fan for those who desire certain features like call screen which no other company is near as effective with dealing with spam. Hold for me maybe a bit better on IOS honestly.

Pixels are moreso for die hard fans who desire certain things.
The Pixel 10 for 320 with a year service at Mint during the summer was too good a deal to worry about the tradeoffs of owning one vs. the S26. Photos and features like call screen are stellar, and for your average user not emulating Switch on their phone or playing demanding games, Pixel is sufficient. All the big three are behind on charging and battery capacity right now compared to Chinese brands.

I wonder why they put that, if so that's a deal breaker for me, I frequently travel overseas and swap out sims quiet often

There's always a (?) on refurbs. I've gotten an "excellent" one with earwax in the earpiece, only visible under magnification... it was very gross. I have no idea why the owner had that much earwax.
If earwax only visible under magnification is "a lot of earwax" - I'm afraid you don't know what a lot of earwax is.

really the improvements since the S23U have been extremely minimal. The main reason I want to upgrade my S22U is the battery life being awful and only gotten worse over the years. Aside from that, I wouldn't be considering an upgrade. But they've not offered a good trade in deal since the S22U in 2022. I got it for $300 brand new with the trade in of my Note 10+

Don't forget s23 ultra ten times zoom compared to the newer ones which are way worse.

Also the s22 and s23 screens are way better than the 24.
