The Samsung Galaxy S25 USA variant includes specific mmWave and low-band frequencies, such as n71, as well as mmWave bands 257, 258, 260, and 261. The global/international version supports a wider range of Sub-6 GHz bands, including n28 and n78, but generally does not support high-frequency mmWave. T-Mobile: n41 + n71 + n25/n2 + n77, Verizon: n77 + n5/n2/n66 + mmWave, AT&T: n77 + n5/n2/n66
So if the Global S25 you're considering has n28 and n78 but is missing n71/n41/n77, that's a much bigger concern for US use than simply not having mmWave.
A few generations ago, the global version of the Galaxy S series used Samsung's Exynos chipset, while the USA and Japan versions used Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. Now, both the USA and global versions use the same chipset, so the main differences are the supported network bands and regional configurations.

This refurbished Galaxy S25 Ultra deal stands out for a big flagship upgrade at a relatively low price, especially since the price gap between Good, Very Good, and Excellent is small. The US version is unlocked with one SIM, and the phone keeps the S Pen while dropping microSD support. Battery life and refurb condition are the main concerns, with reports of dead batteries, moisture warnings, and occasional display or hygiene issues. It looks strongest for buyers who want the S25 Ultra hardware and can live with refurb uncertainty.

  • The small price gap between good, very good, and excellent refurb grades can make the deal feel more consistent across conditions.

    txdf

  • The US unlocked version supports one SIM and includes specific band support that can matter for domestic carrier compatibility.

    TealHeart5116

  • The phone can work internationally when it is unlocked, including using a local SIM or roaming with a US carrier.

    darkhunter

  • The global version can be a better fit for South America because it supports key LTE and 5G bands like Band 28 and n78.

    Guarel2

  • Refurbished units can arrive with hygiene issues such as earwax in the earpiece even when graded excellent.

    alien1138

  • Refurbished units can show serious charging problems, including a dead battery and moisture detected in the USB port.

    balkan

  • Refurbished displays can be sub-par, including cases where a display corner lifts and turns black after light pressure.

    JakeF2980

  • The listing can create international-use confusion by stating the phone is unlocked while also saying it will not work overseas.

Received mine today. It was supposed to be "excellent".

Observations:
-Phone is physically visually in perfect shape, no scratches.
-Generic box
-Generic charger
-Pin to open the sim slot. There is a sim slot btw.

Now the bad part:
- the phone battery was completely dead and when attempting to charge it the phone throws a message to unplug the cable immediately due to water detected.
- there is another message that says the software is "Beta" and you should expect bugs.

We've detected moisture or foreign material in your charging/USB port.
Check your charging/USB port for any foreign material such as dust or debris. To prevent damage to your phone, don't plug anything in until the charging port is clean and the moisture is gone.
To dry the port, shake out any moisture, then wait for it to dry, which could take several hours. You can speed up drying by pointing a fan or dryer (cool air only) at the port.
In the meantime, you can charge your phone wirelessly

Glad I didn't order. These ebay refurbished deals are massive hit or miss. Not worth the hassle even with free returns.

The excellent condition one I received didn't meet expectations. Description says no scratches on the screen and no visible sign of wear on the body, yet there's an obvious deep scratch under the pre-installed screen protector and the frame has clear scuffs on it as well. Also, while I don't really care, it's supposed to come with a charger but that's also missing. Just has a cable and SIM ejector. Returning it.
