I would have these if it wasn't 3' between bulbs. That's outrageous. I have the Costco Feit 48' with 24 bulbs at 2' apart and I wish it was closer to 18". 3' of cord is just so much to deal with.

Controllable RGBICWW vs normal warm light on/off led, hardly comparable...
Just from description it looks like the one you posted does not have white temperatures, just colors but can be dimmed. The one posted here seems to support RGBICWW
The cheaper ones are technically the newer ones (H702B). They add Matter, support more scenes and have IP66 rating along with a lower wattage, and are 65lm per bulb. The more expensive ones (H7038) are 100lm per bulb, IP65 and are expandable up 144 feet.
New H702B is RGBWWIC
Older H7038 is RGBICW
In typical Govee fashion they have six variants of each product, and make it hard as hell to know which does what.

Did I compare the two for all features? No, it was about length and nothing to do with additional features so I have zero idea how this is relevant to my comment.

to be honest, i prefer the width between bulbs. plenty bright, even lighting. and i can get more coverage with the same # of bulbs. it really depends on your space and lighting goals.
does anyone have these newer lights and can they confirm that you can use the illumination scene on a per bulb basis? on my older set you can set all these colors, scenes, etc, but if you want to have bright lights, you have to use the illumination scene. which changes the whole set of lights to some special mode that is brighter than anything you can achieve on a per bulb basis. this really limits your options if you want one area bright and another area a fun color.
