That said, I love it.
Here are some of my favorite upgrades over the original Ally:
- 1. Controller grip is easier to hold than the rounded edges of the original Ally.
- 2. Battery life is better.
- 3. Dual USB-C ports (as opposed to only one on the original Ally).
If you play mostly Steam games, consider installing Bazzite (Linux-based operating system for handhelds). That said, make sure you can play your favorite games on Bazzite. (Unfortunately for some, Bazzite can't run Fortnite due to DRM that's incompatible with Linux.)512GB might be limiting depending on the sizes of the games you play, but upgrading your storage is simple.
