If you're reading this, I know you want a 5080 but you know the 5070ti will do the job good enough until this madness ends or at least calms down. It will also save you $300-500 which you can put aside for the next xx80 series once prices come back down to earth. Anything 2k or less resolution, the 5070ti will run very well on high settings. At 4k, even the 5080 is barely hitting the playable 60fps on high. Is 10 frames really worth $500 over the 5070ti? All you have to do is sit tight with a nice 5070ti for 2 years.

Not sure if it's for the new member or the first order? It's there automatically when I checked out. Try with a new account.
EDIT: Actually the 3% is still there when I tried to place another order just now.

I'll take that $500 and bet you that prices won't ever come down, even after "2 years".

Nvidia already closed the pricing gap with their card tiers by having a Ti version that comes out shortly after the baseline tier. This is further reinforced by the 50 series Super version being cancelled.

Just like with COVID pricing, this will become the new normal and the MSRP will be $900-$1000 for a non-Ti xx70 with 18GB of vRAM using slower 3GB chips.

They aren't.

They're using the cards for AI to keep themselves in a constant state of delusion.

UPDATE: stupid staples, they cancelled my first order for reason "not able to verify account". I called and placed another order. Hopefully this time it'll get fulfilled.

Wall Street firms have been reaffirming their projections of data center growth. Senior search engine that you use to verify that. Most memory providers are projecting incredible shortages through at least 2028.

All of the gaming streaming services have reduced their time limits to basically nothing.

The two console providers aren't even going to give a projection of cost or time for their next gen units.

Saying it's a bubble is just a cope.

You can ask yourself why the revenue of these companies is so incredibly short of the valuations but if you listen anybody talking about it, they'll tell you exactly why the revenue doesn't matter at this point. It's all about replacing human labor which is valued at about $10 trillion per year across the planet. That's why there's a race for dominance.

There's absolutely zero reason for Nvidia to put out a super line of cards. They've already concluded that directing all of their production capacity at data centers is the absolute most valuable for the company.
