Very troublesome for these Chinese brand devices to integrate with home assistant. So if you are planning to use their app, you should be ok. Otherwise stay clear.
Really? I have a handful of Govee devices and HA seems to handle them fine.

No worse than not having your smart tv on a segregated network.

Doesn't work for me. Aa day spent and they go offline after a few days.

$100 for this lamp, another earlier Govee deal was like $56 for a desk lamp. It all looks like cheap plastic. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of govee lights like led strips in ceiling channels, around pinball machine, and even the dream tv setup with wall lights. But they were all conservatively priced for what they were. The current product pricing is a bit much.

On another note, all my Govee stuff integrates seamlessly in HA with the Govee to MQTT Bridge. No way I could ever go back to using the mess of the Govee app.

I bought this lamp in the summer and love it. High quality metal base. The top (where the light is) is made of silicone so no worries about it breaking.

Alexa had trouble with my Gouvee floor lamp. I think the problem is they don't connect directly to the wall outlet. There is an adapter similar to something you use with your notebook computer. I ended up getting a cheap touchier lamp with a Tapo smart bulb.

The Govee app really is atrocious. How they can spend so much money on product development and not a bit on cleaning up that app UI is mindblowing. And I say that as a Govee fan. 😂
