Very troublesome for these Chinese brand devices to integrate with home assistant. So if you are planning to use their app, you should be ok. Otherwise stay clear.

Really? I have a handful of Govee devices and HA seems to handle them fine.

No worse than not having your smart tv on a segregated network.

$100 for this lamp, another earlier Govee deal was like $56 for a desk lamp. It all looks like cheap plastic. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of govee lights like led strips in ceiling channels, around pinball machine, and even the dream tv setup with wall lights. But they were all conservatively priced for what they were. The current product pricing is a bit much.

On another note, all my Govee stuff integrates seamlessly in HA with the Govee to MQTT Bridge. No way I could ever go back to using the mess of the Govee app.
