This Pulsar dual fuel inverter generator stands out as a 6,000 watt, 240 volt backup power option with remote start, especially for homes, well pumps, mini splits, and outage use. The dual fuel setup is handy for propane storage and avoids some gas maintenance, and the price drew strong interest as a solid value for the wattage. Reported drawbacks include heavy weight at 98 pounds, loud operation around 67 decibels, and some concern about the CO sensor and outlet compatibility. A practical pick if you need higher output and 240 volt capability.

should be the same as the predator 224cc stuff, but as evidenced by the funnel that came with mine (wrong thread type) manufacturers frequently use engines from multiple sources in outdoor power equipment. So you will probably want to measure the threads on yours to validate that.

Don't be like me and try and just dump the 34oz of oil into the generator unless you want it all over your garage floor. Capacity listed in manual is 34oz capacity which is 2oz more than a quart....WTH. Anyway i had like 4 oz's of oil on my floor and the oil included says it's 34oz.

EDIT............. I guess if you use the threaded funnel that is included you would see if the 34oz overfills the genny. I used a funnel other than what was included.

I'm in the same boat. Even read the note to be careful due to leftover oil from the initial testing.

Also, grabbed a TT-30RV splitter to use, and it doesn't fit since the outlet is recessed a bit and the plug has a big base. Now, I'm wondering if the 240v plug I purchased will have the same issue.

Do not run this generator in a garage under any circumstances. That said, It has an automatic CO minder, so if the area its in gets saturated with CO gas it will shut off on its own. but I would never rely upon that. A generator should always be operated outside at least 8 feet away from the home.
