ExpressVPN is owned by Israeli Intelligence(Unit 8200). It's not really a choice.

NordVPN's "Basic" and "Standard" plans refer to the same core entry-level tier, as NordVPN names its base subscription Basic globally (though third-party resellers or regional descriptions occasionally label it as "Standard"). Both names represent the lowest-priced tier that includes the core VPN features without the extra add-on tools found in higher plans like Plus, Complete, or Prime. *TechRadar

I assume this extends current subscriptions?

NordVPN Standard here is a 15 month digital code for 10 devices, and the main appeal is extending an existing account at a low effective cost. The code can be redeemed at Nord account activation and stacks onto the current term without losing paid days, with the new plan starting when the old one ends. The promo code worked for the purchase, and stacking multiple codes is possible, though the code itself was only good for one purchase. The main wrinkle is that Nord's Basic, Standard, and Complete tiers are confusing, and some features like malware protection and cloud storage belong to Complete rather than this plan.

Common Questions (4)

Yes. The code can be entered at my.nordaccount.com/activate after logging in, and it extends the expiration date instead of replacing the current plan. A new plan starts when the current one ends, so you do not lose paid days.

For this deal, Basic and Standard are described as effectively the same VPN-only tier. Complete is the higher tier and adds scam call protection, anti-malware and browsing protection, ad and tracker blocking, a password manager and breach scanner, 1 TB cloud storage, and Dark Web Monitor Pro.
webdd webdd resuds
It is 15 months total, which is 1.25 years, not 1.5 years. The promo code is also reported to expire on October 5, 2026.

The code is reported to work for only one purchase, so buying multiple cards in one transaction is the safer way to stack them. After purchase, enter the code in your Nord account to extend the expiration date.

I wonder the same but for 2 x 15 months (2.5 years). It's 15 months (1.25 yr) not 1.5 year.

Nord FAQ says:

What if I buy a new plan before my current one ends?
Don't worry - you won't lose any days of service that you've paid for. Your new plan will only start when your current plan ends.

What's the difference between "standard" and "basic" plans? This one is for the "standard", but I bought the "basic" plan in March:

https://slickdeals.net/f/19326330-18-99-nordvpn-basic-premium-vpn-service-10-devices-1-year-download-at-newegg

I'm guessing there'd be no problem stacking this onto my "basic" plan?

Only purchased one card but the code was only good for one purchase. So if you're going to buy two or three or more it should probably be done in one transition. Then you sign into the nord website and copy and paste the code into your account then it automatically extends the expiration date.

Which one is better, ExpressVPN or NordVPN?

Also, can I stack this plan, so it becomes 30-months?

Dumb question, but can I buy this and wait to activate it until mid-November? I won't need it until then.
