I've loved the roku platform for years.
But the latest updates have removed configurability, slowed the UI, reduced OTA reception and made the guide laggy as hell.
We moved our Roku TV downstairs and rarely use now Frown

Roku was recently bought out by Fox. It's always a shame when a good company/brand gets bought out by a big corporation because their products typically suffer.

Absolutely my same experience w Roku. The OS just fell apart little by little the past two years or so and then, the thumb drive pausing OTA was what really chapped my hide. lol. The good old days, so long Roku

Great TV for a kids room or home office. Have one of these TVs in each and they perform well and using rewards programs brought the costs down more.

I think this is a great price on a bedroom sized TV. It is the latest release and it is Full HD - 1080p I noticed a huge difference in picture clarity when I moved up to the 1080 last year. I truly appreciate Roku for all the free content it includes, plus it allows you to easily move between streaming channels and digital over the air TV channels.

Their app has come a long way since the original plug in stick and controller. The new controller has voice command, and all the usual navigation functions you expect these days....only it's about half the size and it won't cost you an arm and a let to replace if the dog chews it up.

Yes. They are owned by fox now. However, I've not seen any change in the content lineup or functionality. You guys need to check your bandwidth....

Hmm, this or the 43" 4K Insignia with Fire TV for the same price? Is Insignia a terrible brand? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F257L7JF/
