IDK why AMD keeps shooting itself in the foot. But attaching the 840M graphics to this chip seems like textbook ensh!ttification. A couple of generations ago, the Ryzen Series 7 chips had the 780M, while the Series 5 had the 760M (which is still significantly stronger than the 840M). Here we have a Series 7 chip with an even weaker graphics processor than the Series 5 from a couple of years ago. Slow clap, AMD.

yeah I think it is best to just go for last gen lunar lake intel chips on the more budget side. Or if you want premium then panther lake, snapdragon or apple. AMD just has nothing good to offer for most people apart from sometimes being cheaper(not even all the time) and then strix halo

Thats wild considering where they were just a few years ago - crazy what you get when Intel is fighting for its life and Qualcomm has to compete with apple silicon.
