I bought both and my wife and I auditioned them a while back. We wound up keeping the Bose.
It wasn't a total victory, the Pill has better vocal clarity that really shines through on certain songs and certain kinds of music, where Bose can sound a little boring in comparison. But the Bose works well on a wider variety of music, as the brighter Pill could sound shrill with certain songs. The warmer-souding Bose is more consistent across genres. Also the Bose is better with high volume because the pill can start to sound like it's straining when you crank the volume up past 60 or 70%.
It wasn't a blowout win, though. We really liked both. We decided the Bose was marginally better and a little more versatile, but the Pill is like 90% there, sounds better with certain styles of music, and if you can get it for 30% less, that's not a bad value. Can't go wrong either way.
