I already own an Elite 300, which I use to provide backup power to my theater and network closet (250-260W draw). The unit is extremely compact and surprisingly light for the 3014.4 Wh battery capacity. I use it in the Standby UPS mode, whereby it passes through utility power to my devices with a sub 10 ms switchover time when utility power is loss (measured at around 8 ms). The app allows you to granularly control the peak power draw (1A to 15A) and the charge rate (I use the 800W silent mode with a peak 12A draw). It also allows you to limit the charge target to anywhere from 80-100%. I keep it at 90% since LFP batteries are fine charging to 100% but don't like to sit at 100% for extended periods. However, there is a feature to automatically charge the battery to 100% if severe weather is predicted.
Since the power station does not provide surge protection or automatic voltage regulation, I have the power station connected to a 2000J surge protector (recommended by Bluetti) and my router, core switch, ONT and other devices are connected to an APC rackmount 2U 1500VA 1000w UPS. The UPS then connects to the output port of the Elite 300. The UPS manages surge protection and voltage regulation, and is faster to switch on power loss. It then immediately switches to running off the Elite 300, for about 10 hours of backup time.
