Only one NVME slot.

Good price because of OLED and 5090. Don't forget laptop 5090 is not the same as desktop.

Where do you see 1 slot? I have the 5080 version and it has two slots.

Insane deal in today's environment.

And yes the mobile 5090 is not a desktop version, but that's been true for multiple generations now. Apparently people feel the need to repeat it ad nauseum

There are maybe a handful of examples of actual desktop GPUs in a laptop, but at the same time I do understand that there can be confusion for non-savvy shoppers by calling it a 5090

LOL, indeed. It's still a 5090. It has 24GB VRAM instead of 32GB like the desktop. For those with math issues, this is 8GB more than a desktop 5080, which means that it can fully load larger models than a desktop 5080. My laptop 5090 beats the pants off of my desktop 5080 with 128GB of DRAM on larger models that it can fully load to VRAM vs. ones that the 5080 can't, because it doesn't have to offload anything to system memory. Yeah, it's not 32GB VRAM, but that extra 8GB is golden.

I think this one comes with Thunderbolt 5.. an external nvme enclosure capable of those speeds and a gen 4/5 nvme would be fine. You'd probably want it that way anyway with the amount of heat the gen5 gives out, even the gen4 gets pretty warm
