I bought a bag of this the last time it went on sale. It tastes awful. Also the scoop size is much bigger than typical ON or similar brand for the same amount of protein. Will not buy again.

Saw this yesterday and its my main protein brand. I discovered that I can't digest brands like Optimum Nutrition or similar anymore, I need isolate. Going to try the chocolate flavor this time!

Whey protein isolate contains 90% to 95% pure protein by dry weight so a flavored product that doesn't have cocoa powder should be at least 82%-86% protein by weight. This product is 69% which is horrible. So you have a bigger scoop because 31% of what you're scooping is crap. This reminds me of when private labeled protein powders were blended whey concentrate and they added a scoop of whey isolate to a 5lb bottle and printed "whey protein isolate" all over the bottle.

The vanilla isolate is absolutely disgusting. I can usually choke down whatever but this was the first brand I just had to throw it away. I tried so many times and the aftertaste is just the worst I've tried by a long shot.

I know not all will think it tastes that bad but man was I disappointed
The chocolate is good. The vanilla is awful. This is coming from someone who dumps scoops of preworkout dry in mouth.

I feel like we're drinking two completely different proteins! Are we sure we got the same tub? 😂

I literally had this today and it's easily one of the best vanilla isolates I've found in 20+ years of lifting. The secret might be the mixer—try it with whole milk. It blends perfectly and actually avoids that aggressive, chemical fake-sugar taste that ruins most vanilla isolates.

I'm not a paid shill, just a guy who has choked down enough nasty protein over the years to appreciate a premium one when I find it.

I've honestly found the opposite to be true. Most vanilla protein powders have an intense artificial vanilla taste and are sickeningly sweet. I've been buying the Sports Research Vanilla for a couple years now and it's the best I've found, and the flavor and sweetness is pretty mild. It's also one of the few that doesn't contain sucralose (their chocolate DOES contain sucralose, though).

Most protein powders taste much better with whole milk. However, most people make them with water. I love the dutch chocolate flavor, and I don't like the vanilla. I think it tastes like ice cream that was made with powdered milk, melted and watered down.

https://a.co/d/07wrT3ue this is a great deal at 90% protein with 1st time 50% off. I grabbed one on my reg account and one on my business account. 30 servings at 20g
I tried beef protein powder once and it wouldn't mix unless I used a blender. Becomes a hassle after a while. Not worth it for me

This is one of the nastier vanillas I've ever had. Doesn't mix well in my helix shaker either, even with just water and 1-2 scoops

I recommend the Levels Vanilla protein powder from costco, $74 (in warehouse) 80servings taste great/clean/sensitive to dairy and for whatever reason this causes me no stomach discomfort. roughly the same price per serving - sometimes goes on sale but not too often.
