LG c6h for $1619 is the better deal, right chief? Google os is preferred but I think LG still the way
The LG C5 OLED is better than the Sony BRAVIA 8 OLED. The LG is brighter in SDR, making it better suited for a bright room. The LG is also brighter in HDR and it's the more accurate TV, so it provides a more impactful HDR experience that stays closer to the filmmaker's intent. Finally, the LG is more versatile for gamers due to its four HDMI 2.1 ports and support for 144Hz.

LG TVs have spyware and automatically enable ACR even when turned off.

Just don't connect them to the internet. Realistically an Apple TV or Nvidia Shield is a much better device, and I'd only ever connect the TV to the internet if there is a vital update.

I think this is what they are talking about. How do you get an account?

Ahhh, yes, I saw that. I don't know why they allow the LG and Samsung partner store stuff on here. It's probably like 3% of the viewership of people on here work for a company that is a partner (like maybe their accounting firm or ad agency). I'm sure your email has to have a certain domain name and you have to register or something like that.

It's not a real deal that I would compare anything else to, unless you fit those criteria.

not that hard to get an LG partner login. Hulu... and firefox relay are a couple ways that are pretty easy

Fair enough, but I don't know how I go from Hulu to ordering an Lg tv and I honestly don't know what a Firefox relay is.

I bought the 65" when Walmart had a price mistake for around $550. Great TV. However, it has a very glossy screen and the brightness is on the lower end. Probably ranks next to the LG B series, so keep that in mind. It was adequate for me as I was coming from an older SDR HDTV, but the old TV had a better, more matte screen so even with lower brightness on the older TV, it handles a brighter room better. That's the only downside of this TV in my opinion. The PQ is great and the processing is excellent.

I work for a car company... we have nothing to do with LG or Samsung but my work email still works for them and i get the discount. Its not even promoted internally for us that we have the discount. There are a lot of companies like that i guess.

get Sony, the color is amazing. LG and SS are just so over saturated. but I don't trust the shipping of 77" TV.
At first, I hesitated about buying the Sony when people said Sony is not suitable for bright room in my kitchen, I have a large patio door, 3 large windows, never have problem even I use power saving mode.

I want this, but the timing is terrible. Maybe when my life settles down a little... maybe BF.

And LG can go f*ck right off, doesn't matter if they have the best glass in the world if YOU don't own it
