Lucky 4 U. These are pure garbage. If you don't know how to swim you will learn quickly when using this self deflating boat.

I strongly disagree. I've done at least 150 miles in shallow New England rivers and swamps in all four seasons on Explorer 200s and 300s. I've literally paddled through thin crusts of ice without issue. Yes, you're bound to get a slow leak eventually from scraping the bottom in rapids, but the beauty of these is how little it matters. Either tape it up, or buy a new Explorer 200 for a mere $9. Use a kayak paddle instead of the one this ships with, and spend another $10 on a chinese rechargable battery air pump. Your raft, paddle, and inflater all fit in a small dry bag you barely notice wearing on your back.

Same sentiment here, we actually stopped using pillows in our pool when we close it, we just use our explorer 200. Then come spring we hose it off and the kids use it as a pool float for another season.

Our explorer 200 has been inflated for 4 years straight. Every spring I reinflate it to almost bursting, and it holds until the next spring.

I mean, the picture literally has 3 kids in a pool. Yet the complaints are that you can't conquer fjording the Rio Grande...
These suck because there is no drainage path, so conquering your epic quests will fill them with water, negating any flotation.
But with a pump and paddles included, I don't know how you could do much better at a $20 price point.
