Own it, love it.

Initially bought their regular-size electric screwdriver kit (which has worked so well as a simple, handy everyday-use screwdriver set that I later also bought one for my senior citizen mom).

But I mess around with electronics quite a bit, for which that one was not suited for a wide variety of reasons (too much torque, incompatible with precision bits, etc), and, while I had long been an advocate of sticking to manual screwdrivers for the tiny, delicate little screws you need a precision screwdriver for, since you have a much lower chance of accidentally stripping screws that way, I eventually gave in and picked this guy up, and have yet to regret it in the slightest.

It's (deliberately) a lot slower and lower-power than the regular model, which has saved me from almost damaging quite a number of tiny screws, but still has enough torque to take out even stubborn little devils that have gotten stuck after sitting in their spot for decades, which I likely would have stripped had I used one of my manual ones. It has saved me a lot of time and effort in disassembling and reassembling various devices, and just the thought of going back to manual only now seems like a nightmare.

TL;D$: If you need a precision screwdriver for tiny, delicate little screws made of metal so soft you'd swear you could cut them with your fingernail, this is your guy.

I'm just worried about the battery. It could turn this from a lifelong tool to paperweight in no time. I wish it had removable AA or 18650 battery.

Also, some reviews complain of soft bits that bend under the motor's force.

I just purchased this and it already arrived today and I have to say for such small screws I would say it spins too fast

that was my main concern as. I work mostly with very short screws. I need a slow slow tool. thank you for avoiding a buy-return!

Not the cheapest, but Startech uses two AAA batteries and comes with a 2 year warranty. We use.them in the office. Several variations available.

I had this but returned it in favor of the E2 Ultra. The primary reason for this was the power. I work with many 3D-printed parts, and sometimes I need the extra torque that this couldn't provide. However, what I liked about this was that it would let me manually screw if its own torque wasn't sufficient. The E2 Ultra, on the other hand, simply slips, so most of the time, I have to go get the manual one if the E2 Ultra can't keep up. Also E2 you can select torque level

The 1-star reviews should deter anyone with a bit of logic from buying this. This is just a promotion, and people keep falling for it.
