Not by a long shot local to me. Costco and Sam's club local to me both 4.17 . 7/11 4.25 a gallon. Add in 50 cents off tomorrow 3.75 not to mention there are other discounts on the 7/11 app that all stack.

This offer is for 7Rewards members who text AGAIN to 711711.

If you get an error message reply, go in the 7-Eleven app to Profile > Preferences > Notifications and enroll in SMS promotions.

This 7-Eleven fuel promo is a short-term gas discount that works through the app for 7Rewards members and can stack with other rewards. The discount is activated by texting AGAIN to 711711, then checking the Fuel tab or the first app screen on the promo days, October 7 and October 11. The app also shows local prices, price lock options, and in some cases extra savings from cards or rewards programs. Main caveats are that it only applies once per day, some locations do not participate, and the discount may not appear or apply correctly at checkout.

You can only use it once per day I found out, so don't fill up one vehicle and come back the same day for the other one. You have to come back on the 11th and then you can fill up a second vehicle. By the way my local Costco/Sams Club are $4.69 right now. The 7-11 closest to my house is 4.59 and I am getting 61c off of that price or $3.98. Also, if you have USbank Smart Rewards, I'm seeing a 10% cash back offer up to $15 total cash back. Also, not seeing anything for gas in the home depot pro xtra rewards by the way.

I signed up with the text code, followed the link from the text, but when I filled up and used my speedway card (linked to the same phone number) it did not take off the 50 cents...

Did you make sure you texted AGAIN to 711711 using the same number that's linked to your 7-Eleven rewards account?

Only other explanation I can see is that your local 7-Eleven doesn't participate.
yes texted them already. maybe local 7-11 doesnt particapte.
thanks again slick_drone.

All of the 711s near me only give me a 500 point offer instead of savings on gas. Rude.

Thanks for the reminder! Got mine at $3.69/ gal today. It's not great but it's something. Still trying to figure out how to take advantage of the price lock though...
In the app it's very easy to use price lock. You hit the price lock button it scans the local area 7/11 fuel prices and chooses the lowest one and makes fuel that price at your station.it will lock that price for 4 days. I did it yesterday and fuel actually went down since then a few cents. There's an unlock button and than re price lock. You should be able to see all the local 7/11 fuel prices in the app live under fuel.

The closest station that accepts this offer is like 100 miles away from me, and I live Southern California.

I could get it for $3.20 at Speedway but of course both vehicles are above 3/4 full. Happens every time.
You also have 10/11 (Sunday) to get the deal.
Next time, add a reminder on your phone on the 1st of the month (or last week of last month) to see if 7-11 is offering this.
This happened in July, and they did it again September and October.
Then, just estimate what you need until the 7th or 11th.

For the speedway app, is there a way to tell the discount is applied before you use it. The app is hard to tell and I tried before and paid full price.

Click the Fuel tab in the bottom of the app, and on that page, you should see local store gas prices and any discounts your eligible for.

Heads up, most 7-11 near me are $3.99. While browsing other locations across my city, for whatever reason one 7-11 location is showing $3.59 in the App. After all my discounts, $3.04 per gallon.

I did a 4 day price-lock and will fill up this Sunday at this Locked price.

May consider this if a station is along your way.

Note: I just noticed that the locked price discount does apply at ALL other 7-11s. So if you lock the price 30 miles away, but use a local gas station (higher price), you'll still see more discount off than if you didn't lock. Not sure how they calculate this.
When I locked, the price dropped lower. So when I go into the app today...
  1. The locked station (9 miles away): $0.05 app savings
  2. My local station (3 miles away): $0.05 app savings + $0.07 locked savings (even though I didn't lock here). Still a higher price than the above station, but the extra $0.07 off per gallon makes me have to determine if it's worth it to drive to the other station (9 miles away).

If you have the Home Depot Pro extra account under rewards, there's an additional $.25 off a gallon. It's a unique code you put in the app prior to purchasing.. also works at Speedway.
Thanks for that! The code is good for your next 5 full ups!

  1. if filling 2 cars together, line up the tanks so you can go from one to the next. some pumps shut off fast due to inactivity
