i got this one in 2013 for $9. after around 50international trips ,it still works. i usually started double bagging and putting exactly 49lb. trust me only checked in baggage that gives you extra 11lb. all other softside or hardisde are 11lb

biggest drawback is that they are dificult to carry with a carryon. if you get cart then no issue at all

It looks like it doesn't have a side strap or pass thru pocket and is also very large at 100 L, which makes it harder to handle on a carryon. I got a no name 80 L duffle that had one side strap and it was fairly easy to handle on the carryon when the side handle is threaded through the side strap. I would have preferred a full pass thru pocket or two straps for better stability.
