Supposedly the difference between the models is "Sony released two variants of the Bravia 8 in 2025, the XR8B and the XR8C. They use the same processor and panel, with a few differences in software and promotions. In RTINGS' variant table, the K-77XR8B is the standard 2025 variant and the K-77XR8C is the 2025 Sam's Club variant. Sam's Club sells the XR8C directly, and currently lists it at $1,998. The Amazon listing is probably excess or channel stock."

My Sony needs to be rebooted every single month because of some issue.

My Sony KDL-55EX710 from 2010 still works flawlessly, no dead pixels, no monitor issue whatsoever. My Toshiba from 2008 is also working flawlessly. I don't know if this much hyped TCL and LQ can stand the test of time like Sony and the old Toshiba before the company's television line was sold to Hisense. My next big screen will also be a Sony.
