Highly recommend the Chinese chef's cleaver. Surprisingly nimble once you get used to it- I frequently use it instead of a nakiri. Also, the 4.5 utility knife may be my favorite and most frequently used!

true chinese cooking doesn't need any of those expensive toys, a $15 wok, a $10 cleaver, and a chunk of tree trunk, all set.

Found an Wustof 8 piece set in a thrift store years ago for $13.00, still got em. Oh, and that Santoku is so sharp it took the tip of my finger off quicker than I knew it did.
