$10 regular price? For a snap knife??

There are no shortage of available options for around and even less than the price for this.

This is not a good deal. To frame it as a good deal is deceptive. The OP is a Staffer. Connect some dots people.

ETA: Some options.

This is a case of you get what you pay for. I have used many snap-off knives, from Olfa, Stanley, Husky from Home Depot and many others. The cheaper ones just don't function as well. The slide mechanism isn't very smooth, the lock doesn't hold if there is any resistance while cutting, and the blades are not as sharp or durable on the cheaper ones. I would take the OX in the post over the ones you posted (I can't be sure about the Walmart one, because that link just goes to the SD home page).Yes, the $10 regular price is nonsense, but the regular price is nonsense on 99% of products sold today.

I get my regular utility blade from my garage toolbox. Walk to wherever in my house I need it. Start cutting. Realize the blade is dull AF, but I at least need a phillips to open to get to the spare blades.

Now:
Do I walk all the way back, change the blade, walk all the way back, do my task
or
stab at it with the dull blade?

We both know what I do. So, using the OP's type of blade allows me to snip off the tip (using the back) and get a fresh sharp blade anytime I notice dullness. Cool story, bro.

Yes we call this shillatious posting by Unslickdeals. Harbor is better ergonmically and at $2.69 $1 less. If you want there thin cheaper it is often Harbor (roght now is) 99 cent or less. For a portable unknown brand even dollar stores have cheaper

I don't like it if blade slides during use.
